Some truly brilliant legal maneuvering by the wombat lawyer.

We've joked about Clarence's career as a lawyer before but this is actually the first in-comic reference to his profession. ;)

I didn't know that they had lawyers in Middle-Earth? or the dark ages, or the age of Cimmeria, or whatever fantastical time period this is....
This is illogical!!!!

On the contrary, lawyers have been around almost as long as laws have been around! ;)

Have you been injured while adventuring on behalf of a client? Have you suffered permanent stat loss due to a malevolent spell or cursed magic item? Have you suffered the indignity of player character death due to irresponsible DM'ing?

Clarence E. Wombat can help. www.wombatlawyerwillfightforyou.com

He's a tough negotiator that one! I love that he immediately spotted the potential client and went into legal combat mode.

Oh yeah, he a scrapper in the courtroom!

I am sure Clarence' parents are still disappointed he gave up a career in law to become an adventurer. When Orvar regains his throne, maybe he can appoint Clarence Attorney General of the Realm.

Clarence was burned out from handling too many cases back in the forest. That's when he dropped everything and hit the road with his pals. Truly, a role model for these modern, over specialized times!

I can totally relate haha. Much better to be an adventurer!

Songgu Kwon
Ha ha! Yes, I imagine you would! And yes, adventuring as a career sounds pretty good. You get to travel, meet interesting characters, kill things, take their loot, sell the loot... Etc.

I demand Trial by Wombat.

Trial by wombat involves a big hole in the ground and a wombat, I believe.

Once he/she is untied, Druuga should be able to cast a spell with no somatic requirement. Which should be a cause for concern. Not sure how much protection Bob will be.

Yeah, it's hard to say which one has more mojo, Bob or Druuga.

I like that Clarence the wombat's last name is wombat. Makes me want to change my name to John Human.
Songgu Kwon 14th Apr 2015, 2:12 AM edit delete reply
Songgu Kwon
Well, hello there, Mr. Human! It'd be funny if our last names are basically what we are at the moment. In my case, I'd be Songgu Beerdrinker.

'Esquire' made me laugh out loud. I'm just comparing 'lawyer Clarence' with the Clarence that swings on a branch with his stuff hanging out!
